Brad grew up in Wagga Wagga NSW. He won a Gold Medal in the 2006 Commonwealth Games and represented Australia in Beijing and London Olympics. He has been on the ITU World Championship podium 3 times, 2005 in Gamorgori, 2007 in Hamburg and 2010 in Budapest. He is also a 6 x Australian Champion.

He has ridden with Keywin for a number of years.

“I love Keywin pedals for a number of reasons. They are the lightest pedal on the market and also I am suited to Keywin as they have different axel widths for my narrow hips, something that has enabled me to stay injury free on the bike.”

BRAD’S MAY 2013 Update

Hi Everyone

Well it’s been a while since my last update. The training has been going well during the summer and I have enjoyed the long Course/non drafting training. Unfortunately i’ve had a run of bad luck of late and it has been testing sometimes thats for sure, a shredded tyre in Geelong 70.3, crash on slippery roads in San Juan 70.3 then a Staph infection for Ocean Side 70.3. I just couldn’t get a brake. But i knew I had to be patient and things will eventually turn around.

I decided to race Noumea International Triathlon a couple weeks ago. It is non drafting Olympic distance. I raced this event back in 1999 as a Junior and I was happy to be invited back for this race. I placed 2nd to Tim Reed in terrible conditions, gale force winds/ rain and was glad to get through a race without too many problems. Then it was onto Hervey Bay. It was a last minute decision to head up to this iconic race. I decided the day before the race and made the road trip north. Along with the good prize money I have heard good things from this race. It is one of Australia’s oldest triathlons. And attracts a solid field in the elite. I used this as a test to see how my time trialling was coming along. I was up there in the swim and bike and moved to the lead at halfway through the run to win by about 1 1/2 minutes from Joey Lampre. I felt strong in all 3 which was great. The press release from the race is here :

My next race is this weekend in Busselton 70.3. You can follower the race (Saturday) online. Ill keep in touch as I am off overseas soon as the season is just beginning.

I have attached some more pictures from some races. There is some high resolution pics coming soon.
